Location
The SAIGAF Centre of Excellence is located at the Sports Authority of India (SAI) complex in Gandhinagar, Gujarat. As one of Glenmark Aquatic Foundation’s newest centers, it aims to strengthen swimming development in western India.
Facilities

The center has access to two pools at the SAI Gandhinagar facility: a 25-meter pool and a 50-meter pool, suitable for swim training and competitions.

The infrastructure supports development-focused training programs aligned with global standards.
Programs Offered

The center currently offers a Development Swimming Program aimed at younger swimmers.

This program follows Long-Term Athlete Development (LTAD) principles, focusing on building fundamental skills, technique, and physical fitness progressively.

The Senior Swimming Program is not offered at this center at present.
Sports Science Support

Sports science services at Gandhinagar are tailored to the developmental needs of young athletes.

Age-appropriate support includes basic physiotherapy, strength and conditioning, and recovery guidance designed to promote healthy growth and prevent injuries.
Coaching Team

Coaches at the center specialize in nurturing developing swimmers, focusing on foundational skills and gradual progression within the GAF framework.
Stay Facilities

The Gandhinagar center does not provide dormitory or residential stay facilities. Swimmers arrange their accommodation independently.
Summary
The SAIGAF Centre of Excellence at SAI Gandhinagar is a key new addition to Glenmark Aquatic Foundation’s network, focusing exclusively on developmental swimming programs for young athletes. With access to both 25m and 50m pools and age-appropriate sports science support, the center offers a structured environment for skill-building and physical development. Although it currently does not offer senior-level training or residential facilities, it plays an important role in expanding competitive swimming opportunities in western India.
